Who can book a TEA Hubb session?
TEA Hubb works with primary schools, school clusters, Education Support Centres, colleges, professional learning communities and organisations supporting educators. Sessions are available for whole-school teams, leadership teams, specific year groups and educators at particular stages of their careers.
What CPD topics are available?
Current areas of professional learning include leadership and team development, purposeful planning, educator workload and prioritisation, mathematics teaching and leadership, assessment for learning, effective questioning, continuous and enhanced provision, early-career educator development and the transition into more structured learning.
A tailored session can also be developed in response to a school’s identified priorities.
Can a session be tailored to our school?
Yes. The content, examples, activities and intended outcomes can be adapted to reflect your school’s context, current priorities and stage of development. A short consultation will take place before the session to ensure the professional learning is relevant to your staff.
Can sessions be used during Croke Park hours?
Yes. TEA Hubb sessions can be delivered as school-arranged professional learning during Croke Park hours, subject to approval and scheduling by the school’s management. Sessions can be designed to fit the time available and the school’s identified professional learning priorities.
Are sessions available in person and online?
Yes. Sessions can be delivered in person at your school or venue, or online as an interactive webinar. In-person sessions are available throughout Ireland, with travel requirements discussed as part of the booking process.
How long does a session last?
Sessions can be delivered as 60-minute introductions, 90-minute or two-hour workshops, half-day sessions or full-day professional learning experiences. The most appropriate format will depend on the topic, audience and outcomes your setting would like to achieve.
Can several sessions form a longer programme?
Yes. Individual sessions can be combined to create a tailored professional learning programme delivered over a term or academic year. This format allows time for implementation, reflection, follow-up and continued professional dialogue between sessions.
Do you work with Education Support Centres and colleges?
Yes. TEA Hubb welcomes opportunities to collaborate with Education Support Centres, initial teacher education providers, colleges and other professional organisations. Sessions can be adapted for webinars, workshops, conferences, guest lectures and longer professional learning programmes.
How much does a CPD session cost?
Fees are provided following an initial enquiry and depend on the session length, format, level of tailoring, location and number of participants. A clear proposal outlining the session, intended outcomes and full cost will be provided before a booking is confirmed.
